Ironstream enables you to access real-time z/OS operational insights by sending data to platforms such as Splunk, Elastic Logstash, and Apache Kafka.
Ironstream can capture many different types of data from your z/OS mainframe. It generates JSON formatted data that is forwarded via TCP/IP connections to a destination of your choice.
One Ironstream instance can send its JSON output directly to a single destination such as Splunk.
You can run multiple instances of Ironstream to send data to more than one destination, or you can send your data to the Ironstream Hub. This is an off-mainframe facility running on Windows or Linux that can apply filtering and other transformations to your data before sending it to one or more destinations. These destinations include Big Panda and Datadog as well as all the ones supported by direct connections from Ironstream on z/OS.
