In the Users – User Administration list view, select the user that you just created in the section
When the User page open, scroll to the bottom and select the Roles tab.
Click Edit to open the UI for assigning roles.
Find and assign the following roles to the ServiceNow User:
app_service_admin
x_syncs_ibm_i_sm.user
Click Save to assign the roles to the user.
Note: ServiceNow will automatically assign any required roles that go with the sm_admin role.
Click Update when all the roles are added to the user.
