Settings:
The ET Configured z/OS system probe uses the values in the IS z/OS Probes table to determine which Ironstream probes are included in that Discovery run and the order in which they are run.
Order:
The ET Configured z/OS system probe triggers the probes in the LPAR category according to the value in the Order field. Lower values are run before higher values. After the LPAR probes are run then probes with a label that includes COMPONENT DISCOVERY are triggered.
Each COMPONENT DISCOVERY probe triggers the other probes in that category. For example, the probe with the label IMS COMPONENT DISCOVERY triggers the probes with the label IMS. The probes are triggered according to the value in their Order field. Lower values are run before higher values.
The probes with a label of CICS, DB2, IMS, and MQ have dependency relationships which require the probes to be run in a specific order. Changing the Order value of probes in those categories is not recommended.
Setting the Active field to false excludes the probe from being triggered in future Discovery runs.
