  1. Follow the instructions in the section "Verify Status using the EVSTATUS Command" to run the command EVIEW/EVSTATUS.

  2. Check the status of the TCP/IP port being used by using the command: NETSTAT *CNN

  3. If the Ironstream Proxy Server is connected, the port configured in parameter EV400_AS400_MSG_PORT (9000 by default) should show as "Established".

  4. It is also normal for this port to be in a "Listen" state.
