To set an independent auxiliary storage pool (ASP) group name for the agent jobs, enter this command from an IBM i command line:
EVIEW/EVSETASP aspname
where aspname specifies the name of the primary ASP device within the ASP group. The parameter must be the name of an active independent ASP. All libraries from all ASPs in this ASP group will be included in the library name space for the agent jobs.
Specify *NONE to indicate that the agent jobs should not have an ASP group associated with them, and therefore only the libraries in the system ASP and any basic user ASPs will be in the library name space for the agent jobs.
If no parameter is given, EVSETASP will display the current value for the agent ASP group.
The EVSETASP command can be issued at any time to dynamically change the ASP group for the running agent jobs.
