This document is intended for administrators and users of Precisely Ironstream Hub software. The term ‘Hub’ refers only to this product.
Ironstream® Hub – Hub for short – is a scalable, performant, off-platform “middle tier” component with the flexibility to run on Windows or Linux.
Hub receives data from IBM’s z/OS system and/or IBM’s i system and optionally processes the data. For example, applying filters, before delivering the data to one or more targets in a variety of formats.
Hub can help consolidate the events of IBM Z and IBM i systems so that you can act proactively and quickly to analyze data from all across your enterprise systems. Using Hub, you are able to centralize the end-user interface as the basis for enterprise problem analysis.
Hub will offer further transformation and processing facilities in future releases as well as support for additional targets.
