Release updates
- Accurate data is critical for effective planning and strategic decision making. GroundView: Complete Estimates and Projections are based on the most current and accurate input data using reliable and proprietary methodologies. Estimate and projection values have been updated to reflect the latest available data inputs at the time of development. These include external sources such as the Census 2020 Demographic and Housing Characteristics (DHC) and the American Community Survey (ACS), as well as Precisely data resources.
- Current geography is essential for timely, relevant analysis. Precisely
demographics data are based on the latest roster of geographical boundaries and
definitions at the time of development. This includes US Census 2020 geographies
based on 2022 TIGER/Line boundaries (with updated coastlined boundaries), CBSAs
(OMB, March 2020), 2022-23 DMARs, and postal ZIP Codes based on Precisely ZIP
Code Boundaries and Centroids version 2023.05 (utilizing the ZIP Code boundaries
where available and supplementing with the ZIP Code points where boundaries are
not available in the Precisely ZIP Code product). Note: The 2022 vintage of the TIGER/Line boundaries includes the new county-equivalent planning regions in Connecticut and updated Place boundaries.
