This section describes how to perform an Auto tax rate lookup for a single address.
To know Auto tax rates:
- Select Auto from the Tax Rate Type drop-down.
- Start entering the address in the Address text box.
Address suggestions will be auto-populated. Select the
required address.Note: Entering the complete address results in higher accuracy.
- Select the year for which you want to know the auto tax rates from Year drop down.
- (Optional) Start entering the make and model of the vehicle in Make & Model box. Make and Model suggestions will be auto-populated. Select the required Make and Model.
- (Optional) Enter the purchase amount in dollars in
Dollar Purchase Amount text box.Note: By entering an amount, system calculates the actual tax to be paid.
- Click the Get Tax Rates button to get the applicable tax
rates. For example, see the image below:
- A map will be displayed for the searched address. For example,
see the image below:
Note: Map will not be displayed if the searched address is not found.
