This section provides instructions for installing the optional Finalist database files in a Windows environment.
Note: The same optional databases are used for the 32-bit and 64-bit installations of Finalist.

To install the optional Finalist databases on a Windows platform, follow these steps.

Download the database(s) from the estore. You will
receive an automatic notification via email with special links to the Finalist
databases. Click the desired link and follow the instructions in the FAQ section of
the email to complete the download. New users to the estore will need to establish an
estore account for the first download transaction.

Download the installation .ZIP file.

Use the "Save-As" option to save the .ZIP file to your system.

Extract the files.

Follow the instructions provided by the installation program for a successful database installation.

Move the extracted files directly to your database
location.
Note: If you are installing the optional PreciselyID database, it needs to be
installed in the same location as the Addressing files (city.dir and zip4us.dir).
