Looking for An Address Within a City - Finalist - 10.0

To search for an address in the Finalist database using a city name, follow these steps:

1. Click Database. The Database Viewer displays.
2. Click on the City Search Tab.
3. Identify the mode for your search. You can select to choose information for a street, rural route/highway contract/military, or P. O. box address. The Mode Indicator is located at the top right corner of the Database Viewer.
4. Enter the city name in the City field to view a list of city names for the specified state. The list of possible city names will get smaller as you key in more of the city name. The list narrows to one city name when the full city name is keyed in.
5. Click on the city name displayed in the Street Name box to see a list of streets for the specified city name.
6. Click on a street name to view detailed information for the street. The Primary Tab on the Database Viewer displays high and low range, predirectional, postdirectional, suffix, carrier route, EOB (even/odd/both/consolidated) range indicator, and high and low +4 range. If "m" displays next to a number in the first column, multiple +4 codes exist for the primary range.
7. To view secondary information for a highrise, click on a highrise address. The Secondary Tab displays the secondary information for the specified highrise address including secondary range, unit, carrier route, EOB (even/odd/both/consolidated) range indicator, and high and low ZIP Code range. If available and applicable, the firm name displays in the Firm Name pane and the multiple +4 codes display in the Mult+4 Type pane.
8. To view base street information for an alias, click on an address with the alias icon. The Alias Tab displays detailed information for the base address of the alias.
