Concatenation occurs when related data is located on multiple lines.

AddrScan concatenates the previous lines as:

123 MAIN ST BLDG 4 APT 12

Note that the concatenation line maximum (ADDRPASS-LNMX-NUM) is typically set to 70 characters. This may cause problems if you are going to use the standardized lines for reuse in your records and your original records are not large enough to hold the new line. In such cases, you can change the maximum standardized line length to prevent line overflow.
