EmergencyInfo Version is supplied in Esri Shapefile (SHP) and MapInfo Extended TAB file formats. The SHP format can contain the following file types:

| *.CPG | An optional file used to specify the codepage identifying the character set to be used. *.CPG files are required for using the UTF-8 character set. |

dBASE table used to store feature attribute information (required). Note: There is a one-to-one relationship between geometry and attributes. This relationship is based on record number. Attribute records in the dBASE file must be in the same order as records in the main (*.SHP) file. |
| *.PRJ | File used to store coordinate system information. Required in order to use WRS84 CRS. |
| *.SHP | Main file used to store feature geometry (required) |
| *.SHX | Index file used to store index of feature geometry (required) |
The Extended TAB file set can contain the following file types:

| *.MAP | File containing geographic information describing map objects |

In order to properly use EmergencyInfo Pro, the following rules apply:
- You must have access to all of the files in the file set
- All files must be located in the same directory.
