Once you have created Data Stages that need to load or execute on a continuous basis, you can create Process Models to automate these processes.

A Process Model is an automated workflow of nodes that you build to orchestrate the flow of data loads and executions between interdependent Data Stages. You can build your Process Model to perform a number of tasks, with the aim of keeping your Data Stages in sync. The following diagram illustrates the general flow of a Process Model:

(1) All Process Models begin with a Start Event node, denoted by a thin, circular border.

(2) The body of a Process Model can contain Intermediate Event nodes (thin, double-circle), Gateway nodes (diamond), and/or Task nodes (square).

(3) All Process Models end with an End Event node, denoted by a thick, circular border.
