- With your dashboard open, select the dashlet that you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button on the toolbar at the top of the page.
- With the Edit Chart or Table dialog open, you can customize the appearance of a chart or table and the data that is included, by using the icons in the top right corner of the dialog. Click the Properties icon to edit the display properties of a chart or table. Use the options in the tabs to change the appearance of the dashlet.
Chart properties
Tab | Description |

Color | Configure the color palette |
Chart | Configure display properties of the chart. For example, choose whether or not to Show Legends, Omit Seriers Prefix, Align Ticks, and Performance Boost. You can also use the numeric symbols to shorten high numbers in axis labels. |
Data Label |
Configure to display the labels for all chart types except for gauge, tree map, data grid, and time series. By default, this option is disabled. Formatter helps you format the values in the chart that could either be a string or number. |
Axes | Configure properties for the dimension and the chart fields. For example, if you have a field called 'Average Income' in your chart, you can set a minimum and maximum value that will be displayed |
Font |
Select Override Style to define font settings on the dashlet that will override any system-wide dashboard font settings set by your administrator. Choose the font, color and size of the Chart Axis Labels, Chart Axis Titles, and Legends. Different options will appear depending on what type of Chart or Table you are creating. |
Borders | Choose whether to override the default border settings, and configure the color and width of the border when the chart is displayed in the dashboard. |
Header Color | Choose whether to override the default header, and configure the color of the header when the chart is displayed in the dashboard. |

Grid Style |
Configure the grid appearance. For example, choose whether to display column numbers. Choose Show Grand Totals option to whether or not display totals for columns and rows. Use Column Grand Total Label option to rename the label "My Grand Total" and Row Grand Totals Label option to rename "Totals". |
Font |
Choose the font, color and size of the Grid Header and Grid Body. |
Borders | Choose whether to override the default border settings, and configure the color and width of the border when the table is displayed in the dashboard. |
Header Color | Choose whether to override the default header, and configure the color of the header when the table is displayed in the dashboard. |
Criteria
Click the Criteria button to customize how a data view is queried and how the results are displayed when a chart or table is built.

Threshold
Click the Threshold button to set values and value conditions that trigger a change in display for a selected computation and field.

Show Data
Click the Show Data button to view the data that the chart is based on.
The fields that are currently being used for the chart are displayed by default in the Data Details dialog.
You can select any other available fields from the dimension to view them in addition to the chart fields. You cannot remove the chart fields from the view.
You can export the chart data from the Data Details dialog. For more information, see Exporting from a dashboard.
