  1. Click the Help menu in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. Select Licensing.

A Licensing dialog opens and shows your product, version, feature, node pack and expiry date details.

You can view your computer hostname and other information that may be useful for license activation by clicking View License String.
  3. To import a new license, click Import License File then navigate to your new license file.

The Licensing dialog is updated to show the new license details.

Tip: You can request a new license by emailing Fulfillment_Case@precisely.com

Node pack licenses

In addition to the base license needed to run the application, there are two further node pack licenses that are required to run certain nodes:

  • Power R node pack license
  • Statistical and Predictive Analytics node pack license

If you try to use any of the separately licensed nodes without applying the relevant node pack license, you will be able to select the node from the Nodes panel and drag it onto the canvas, but you will not be able to run the node.

The following nodes are separately licensed:

License counts

License count is per user. If a user opens multiple sessions, they will only be counted once for all the sessions.

Scheduled jobs are not counted in the license count. API clients are counted in the license count.

License expiry

If your license is due to expire, admin users will see a badge in the header bar stating that the license will expire in 30 days.

The message will contain a link to the license page where you can see the full license details and choose to apply a new license.
