Supported platforms

The following operating systems are supported on Data360 Analyze Server:

  • Windows Server Core 2019
  • Windows Server 2019 (Desktop Experience)
  • Windows Server 2016 64-bit (Server with Desktop Experience)
  • RedHat Enterprise 7.X 64-bit
  • RedHat Enterprise 8.X 64-bit

The following browsers are supported:

  • Google Chrome - Latest stable version
  • Microsoft Edge - New Chromium-based version

System requirements

The minimum hardware specification is as follows:

  • 32GB minimum (Web Server - 12GB, Database server - 8GB, Execution Server - 4GB base + 2GB per core)
  • Minimum 4 cores for a server instance
Note: As the number of users and/or the number of scheduled jobs increases, you should look to increase the number of cores and thus memory.
  • At least two separate drives or partitions:
    • One for the Data directory.
    • One for temporary execution data.

For installations on Windows Server, you must install the required Visual C++Redistributable Packages (choose the x64 variant of the .exe file):

Note: The Power R node and the nodes in the Statistical and Predictive Node Pack process data in-memory. Additional RAM will be required when processing data sets with a large volume of data. Similarly, if the R node is used, the machine hosting the R environment must have sufficient available RAM to process the data.

App servers

  • Tomcat 9.0.70

App server databases

  • Postgres
Note: Data360 Analyze server upgrades to 3.7.1 will require more disk space than normal. The additional space required is 1.5 times that of the current Postgres database size.

Authentication servers

  • Active Directory
  • OpenLDAP

Authentication protocols

  • LDAP
  • LDAPs

Single Sign-On

  • SAML 2.0
  • CA Single Sign-On — Data360 Analyze is tested against CA Single Sign-On v12.6 where it is integrated via the SiteMinder Access Gateway component. Other versions of CA Single Sign-On which support the SiteMinder Access Gateway may also work. Integrating with previous versions of CA Single Sign-On, where the SiteMinder Access Gateway is not available, may also work where those versions support the SiteMinder Secure Proxy Server component.

Execution Sandboxing

In order to use the Execution Sandboxing feature, the Analyze server must already have an appropriate container runtime. On Windows, Mirantis Container Runtime (formerly Docker Enterprise) is required to use the Execution Sandboxing feature. Data360 Analyze has been verified on Windows server with the Execution Sandboxing feature against Mirantis Container Runtime version 20.10.9. In order to use the Execution Sandboxing feature on Linux, docker-ce is required. Data360 Analyze has been verified on Linux with the Execution Sandboxing feature against docker-ce version 20.10.17.
