You can define an ODBC data source through the ODBC Data Source Administrator as follows:
- From the Start menu, select Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Data Sources (ODBC).
- In the ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog, choose the User DSN or System DSN tab, and click on the Add button. On 64-bit Windows, select the User DSN tab.
- In the Create New Data Source dialog, select the appropriate DBMS driver from the list, e.g. SQL Server, Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb), etc. Then, press the Finish button.
