The task definition command options are the syntax that identifies the sources and targets that constitute a task. The syntax provides the detail specifications on record layout, component fields, filters, conditions, various key or join field information, field and column reformatting, and field level transformation functions. These detail specifications enable the transformation of source data to target output through aggregate, copy, join, merge, and sort processes.
Note: C style comments, for example, /* comment */, are supported.
