Since Connect ETL cannot read the DCB from the catalog, you must tell Connect ETL how the data is formatted in the source and target files. This is done using the “File type” option in the source and target file dialogs.
Connect ETL supports almost all of the formats that Micro Focus uses to store data. However, the names of the Micro Focus formats are different than the terminology that is used for the DSORG on the mainframe.
