Usage

Creates or modifies a request for change-based replication.

Syntax

Parameters

Parameter

Description

CREATE

Establish a new replication request in a previously defined distribution.

ALTER

Modify a previously established replication request. Specify the distribution for this request.

PATHGROUP

Specify the path group (if any) to use for this request.

SCHEDULE...

Set replication request times:

  • Start

  • Stop

  • Duration

  • Pattern of repetition every n seconds, minutes, hours, days, or months.

CONNECT

Specify a username for a server connection.

ON_ERROR

Specify error handling: continue, ignore, or shutdown.

PROTECTED_RESOLUTION

Specify automatic or manual full collision resolution by shadow table.

UNPROTECTED_RESOLUTION

Specify unprotected collision resolution:

  • insert, update, or delete

  • none, target_correct, or source_correct

FILES_ON_START

The FILES_ON_START clause indicates whether existing files at a FileSystem target server should be deleted or retained when the request starts.
