Processing zero-length strings in the Expression Handler - Connect_CDC - connect_cdc_mimix_share - Latest

Oracle processes zero-length strings as NULL values. Therefore, if the target column is defined as NOT NULL, the zero-length string NULL value default can result in target SQL errors. The following methods are affected:

• Job name

• Job number

• Job user

• Journal Sequence Number

• Program name

• Receiver Library 

• Receiver Name 

• Row manipulation type

• Row timestamp

• Row timestamp with punctuation

• Sending file member name

• Transaction ID

• Transaction timestamp

• Transaction timestamp with punctuation

• Transaction user name
