Import Data Enhancement
If you are upgrading from Connect CDC V5.1 or earlier, you will need to import the Data Enhancement methods as part of the upgrade process.
Process to import the Data Enhancement Methods
Perform the following steps to import the Data Enhancement Methods:
- From the context menu, select File > Import RSL.
- In the Specify RSL File Name dialog, navigate to the director subdirectory. For
example:
C:\Connect CDC\Connect CDCV56\director
. - Select and import the
rpv4methods.rsl
file. Connect CDC Director displays an error message for each pre-existing method, and each error message is written to an output file; you can ignore these error messages.Note: If you accidentally import therpv4delmeth.rsl
file, it deletes all built-in methods. Any mappings that use these methods will revert to NULL (unmapped).
Java Installation
Ensure that you specify Java 1.8 in your JAVA path. Otherwise, the Connect CDC Listener will not start.
