Follow the instructions in the appropriate Connect CDC Install Guide for installing the latest Connect CDC software. In addition, you must:

Install the Connect CDC software to a new location. Do not overwrite the current running version of Connect CDC.

Specify a different Listener port number than the one used for the existing Connect CDC install.

Install the System i5 Change Selector to a new library.

Copy any custom scripts and methods to the new install location. Edit as needed.
The following steps enable you to install Connect CDC without requiring that you shut down the model you are currently running.
