All figures show the Connect CDC Director on a separate Windows machine. This is not required when Windows hosts comprise all or part of the system. In the first figure, the Connect CDC Director could instead reside on the Windows machine hosting the source or target. In the second figure, the Connect CDC Director could instead reside on the Windows machine hosting the source.
