Perform the following instructions to use join columns in a gate condition.

Note: Any column in an accessible table can be referenced in a gate condition. An accessible table can be:- the base sending table- any join table associated with that table
  1. Navigate to the Sending Tables Properties dialog. Use this dialog to define a legal expression to be evaluated for each row sent from the source table. If the expression evaluates as true, then the source row is sent using this mapping; otherwise the source row is not sent.

On the right side of the dialog:

  2. Select a table from the Table dropdown.

  3. In the Datatype section, from each dropdown, select and Insert the Column, Operator/Statement and Method to display as the expression in the Gate condition box on the left side of the dialog.

  4. Click Validate, and correct any syntax errors, if necessary.

Note: If a gate condition does not exist, Share sends all source rows.
