Changes in the model in the Connect CDC Director necessitate a commit in the Connect CDC Director and a Model Update in Connect CDC MonCon or Connect CDC Console. As soon as a new model version is available, the kernel sends an alert notification to Connect CDC MonCon about the new version’s availability. If you do not have the Model Update window open, it opens automatically, sends you an alert, and shows the new version numbers.
To manually launch a Model Update window, select View>Model Update. If you have a Model Update view open in Connect CDC MonCon when a commit is executed in Connect CDC Director, click the Get button to see the new version number. To work with the new model, click Model Update.
