In the rare event the Connect CDC Listener goes down, it affects all clients serviced by that Connect CDC Listener at that port. If this happens, follow these steps:

Restart the Connect CDC Listener.

If a model was opened in Connect CDC Director when shutdown occurred, Disconnect the host connection and then retest that connection in Connect CDC Director. This re-establishes the active connection to the host/server in the opened model.

If the Connect CDC Listener goes down during a commit, retry the commit after re-establishing the connection from step 2.
Note: When the Connect CDC Listener is shutdown, it keeps track of which models and requests are active so that when the Connect CDC Listener restarts, it automatically reactivates the models and associated requests.
