Perform the following instructions to use join columns in a gate condition.
Note: Any column in an accessible table can be referenced in a gate condition. An accessible table can be:- the base sending table- any join table associated with that table
-
Navigate to the Sending Tables Properties dialog. Use this dialog to define a legal expression to be evaluated for each row sent from the source table. If the expression evaluates as true, then the source row is sent using this mapping; otherwise the source row is not sent.
On the right side of the dialog:
-
Select a table from the Table dropdown.
- In the Datatype section, from each dropdown, select and Insert the Column, Operator/Statement and Method to display as the expression in the Gate condition box on the left side of the dialog.
-
Click Validate, and correct any syntax errors, if necessary.
Note: If a gate condition does not exist, Share sends all source rows.
