Selecting this option enables Connect CDC Director collision detection and resolution by shadow table for this table.
Once you select this button, the Shadow Table text box opens and you can enter the name of the shadow table. You can not edit the Shadow table text box once the model is committed.
If you later de-select Full resolution, the named shadow table gets dropped from the DBMS catalog when you commit the EDMM.
Notes
-
The xml datatype mapping is allowed only for Microsoft SQL Server. You can only map the xml datatype to xml datatype. This means that the compatible columns for the xml datatype will only show the xml datatype columns as shown in the Receiving Table Properties dialog.
-
If a table can be updated from more than one server, it must be defined with full collision resolution.
-
If you define reciprocal (bidirectional distribution) table mappings between two hosts, the Full resolution option here is automatically selected by default. See Select Source Tables for Distribution.
