You can access information about each selection on the Process Definition Basic page by making the selection active and pressing F1.
Some selections on the Process Definition Properties dialog have matching configuration parameters set when you initialize the Connect CDC Director. Those configuration parameters are identified in the help available when you press F1.
For example, the configuration parameter set when you select None for Scramble Passwords is scramble=0.
To enter information

In the Process name text box, enter a unique name. The name can be 32 characters in length.

If necessary, modify the default name of the Configuration file for this process.

If necessary, modify the default name of the Executable file for this process.

Do not change the name of the executable file unless the name of the executable module on the server is different than what is entered here.

Select a Scramble passwords option:

Click OK or select another page.
Information-only fields
-
Process type identifies the type of processes.

Internal name is an identifier for the process that is used in metabase messaging and visible in logs. It is unique only within the server.

Status is the process status.
