Prepare the user database (Informix) - Connect_CDC - aws_mainframe_modernization_service - connect_cdc_mimix_share - 6.x

During the installation of the metabase, Connect CDC Director created the omnirep database and granted privileges to its owner rpuser (replication user). After the metabase install, you must prepare the database by granting connection privileges to the replication user for the databases that will be replicated from/to the Informix DS server. At a minimum, this replication user must have dba privileges.

1. To prepare the database from within Connect CDC Director, right-click the server, then select Prepare User Database.

2. Enter the database name in the Database/Schema Name dialog.

    

3. Click OK.

4. Pick the system administrator ID and password on the User ID and Password dialog, then click OK.
