To start Connect CDC Director:

From the Windows machine on which Connect CDC Director is installed, select C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Precisely Connect CDC V6.0\Director.
When you open Connect CDC Director for the first time, you are prompted for a location of the Connect CDC Director log, where changes made to the model are recorded. See Connect CDC Kernel log for more information. The recommended directory is the director subdirectory.
The Connect CDC Director window displays empty, except for menus and toolbar icons.

Do one of the following:

To begin a model definition, click File>New.
A model tree structure displays with its root labeled Enterprise Data Movement Model. As you create individual instances of the entities in a particular branch, they start new (sub-) branches.

To open an existing model definition, click File>Open, then navigate to the model in the dialog that displays.
