You define a request schedule on the Common page of the request’s Properties dialog, whose options are the same for a Replication, a Copy, or a Synchronization request. A schedule determines when data is moved for the entire request.
Keep in mind the following:
-
If a request does not have a schedule, it must be started and stopped manually using Connect CDC MonCon.
-
Entering a time that has already passed has a “start now” effect.
-
Two requests of the same type in a distribution cannot be active at the same time.
-
A replication request requires a Stop attribute. Otherwise, it continues to move data or attempt to find data to move, unless explicitly stopped.
