Uninstall Connect CDC on UNIX and Linux - Connect_CDC - connect_cdc_mimix_share - 5.8

Since it is not recommended that you install as root, if you have done so and want to reinstall as some other user, do the following:

1. Stop Connect CDC Listener (see Stop Connect CDC Listener).

2. Delete the files that were created in the install directory.

3. Delete from /var/tmp the file that has the host label with an “ini” extension. Note that the root user must delete the files. Otherwise, the delete will fail.

For example, if the host label is js23-33, issue the following commands:

cd /var/tmp

rm js23-33.ini.
