When working in a Multiplatform environment (i.e. UNIX, Windows, etc.) you may choose to use file extensions either as an alternative to the File Type directory structure or simply to facilitate launching an editor based on those extensions. When they are used, it is important to maintain consistent file extensions for the different types of files.
The following table outlines the recommended file extensions in a Linux environment.
Extension | File Type |
---|---|
rpl | Replicator Engine script |
rpt | The report produced by the Replicator Engine |
log | Diagnostic output from SQData component when requested using sqdlog.cfg parameters |
