This checklist covers the tasks required to prepare the operating environment and configure the Oracle LogMiner API Data Capture Agent. Before beginning these tasks however, the base product must be installed.
Note: Some organizations do not permit third party software to be installed on the Oracle database server platform. Connect CDC (SQData) supports remote capture of Oracle from another platform using essentially the same configuration described below. The configuration tasks that must be performed on the Oracle server and Capture platforms are identified below.
