Determine PSB requirements - connect_cdc_sqdata - Latest

The SQDIMSU utility will by default read all the segments in a single IMS database. The PSB used by the utility must be able to read the intended database. If only a subset of the segments in the hierarchy are required, they can be filtered using two different techniques:

1. Commenting out the WHEN clause for all but the required segments in the recommended special Load/Refresh Apply Engine.
2. If the existing LogStream, Publisher and CDC Apply Engine are to be used, it is possible to use the PSB to limit the segments read. Keep in mind that the all the segments in the hierarchical path to a required segment must be read. Remember to ensure synchronization this technique REQUIRES ALL CONCURRENT IMS APPLICATION DATABASE ACTIVITY TO BE STOPPED.
