This checklist covers the tasks required to prepare the operating environment and configure the UDB Log Reader Capture Agent. Before beginning these tasks however, the base Connect CDC (SQData) product must be installed.
Note: Some organizations do not permit third party software to be installed on the UDB database server platform. Connect CDC (SQData) supports remote capture of UDB from another platform using essentially the same configuration described below. The configuration tasks that must be performed on the database server and Capture platforms are identified below.
