Capture Agents may be Stopped simply to apply changes to the configuration file as described earlier or the Capture Agent address space can be stopped bringing the agent to a complete stop.
The following example Stops the agent performs a shutdown of the address space using the SQDCONF utility unmount command.
$ sqdconfstop /<SQDATA_VAR_DIR>/udbcdc/udbcdc.cab
$ sqdconfunmount /<SQDATA_VAR_DIR>/udbcdc/udbcdc.cab
