The ISNUM (Is Numeric) function determines whether or not a value contains a valid numeric value. If the value is numeric, a true (1) is returned. Otherwise, a false (0) is returned.

Example
Determine whether or not an employee’s bonus field/column (BONUS) within a datastore is numeric. If the field is numeric, map it to the corresponding target field. Otherwise, map a constant of zero (0) to the target BONUS field.
