If you have issues with recording and running, you can run an authorization check to determine whether you need authorization objects.
- Click the File tab.
- Click Account.

Under Authorization information, click
Authorization Check.
If you are not logged on to an SAP system, the
logon box opens. Choose the system and enter your
user name and password, or click the Auto
Logon tab and choose a credential. Then click
OK.
- The Authorization Check Results box opens and lists the SAP objects that you are authorized to use.
To record and run transactions in SAP GUI and to use some SAP tables, you need certain SAP authorization objects installed on your computer. Your Transaction administrator must install the objects for you.
