When you click the Add System button in the SAP Logon box, you have a couple of options: You can add an application server or, if your organization uses a group logon, you can add a message server. You will need to get the SAP system information from your SAP admin or BASIS team.
Application server
- Enter the values for the Application server and the System number.
- If you are using SNC without SSO do the following:
- Check the Activate secure network communication (SNC) box.
- Type the SNC name.
- Choose a security level.
- Check the SNC Logon with User/Password box.
Group logon
- To use a group logon, click Group Logon.
- Enter the SAP system ID.
- Enter the Logon group.
- Enter the Message server and the Message server port.
- If you are using SNC without SSO do the following:
- Check the Activate secure network communication (SNC) box.
- Type the SNC name.
- Choose a security level.
- Check the SNC Logon with User/Password box.
