From the Calendar view, you can add AD Sync jobs to the Calendar. You can also double click any job to initiate the following:
- View job details.
- Edit the job.
- Cancel the job.
- Schedule new jobs with the assigned properties.
Edit the calendar
To edit a job within the Calendar, double click the job. To cancel/delete a job, hover over the job and click the X.
Because changes to this page can significantly impact the Evolve application operations, please exercise caution or make changes in consultation with the Precisely Support team.
The following changes can be made to jobs within the Calendar:

Add an AD Sync Job to the Calendar
From the Calendar page, you can schedule an AD Sync job to run at a scheduled time. This job performs an Active Directory group synchronization and assigns or removes licenses and permissions for users in the specified Active Directory group.
The AD Sync feature is supported only with Windows Authentication. It is not supported with SAML and OAuth authentication.
AD Groups with 300 or more users, jobs run in the background (Background mode). For AD Groups with less than 300 users, jobs run in the foreground.
To schedule an AD Sync job in the Calendar:
- Go to the Admin App Calendar page.
- Click the + icon at the top right of the screen to open the Add New Job page.
- From the drop-down menu on this page, select AD Group Sync Job and click Next.
- Set the Start Date and Time and select the repeat frequency. Click Next.
- Verify the job summary and click Submit.
- This schedules the AD Sync job. You will receive a confirmation message.
Add a new archive job
- Go to Calender > Archive Data Sources.
- Click the + icon. The Add New Job panel appears.
- On the Job Detail panel, complete the following
information:
Select Type – Select the Authentication Method from:
- Archive Data
- Move Archive Data
- Purge obsolete workflow solutions
- Purge Process Data
- Windows Default Account
- Azure Active Directory Password
- FailedJobNotication
FailedJobNotication has parameters Number of Previous Days and Email Addresses. It retrieves all the failed jobs from the previous number of days mentioned and sends an email notification to all the comma separated users mentioned in email addresses text box.
Skip Form Image – Select if you don’t need a Form View copy - Click Next to continue. If you want to refill the details, click Reset.
- On the Set Date & Time panel, complete the following
information:
- Start Date – Select the Date & Time
- Repeat – Select the Job Frequency
- Never
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
- Click Next. Summary with Job Information appears.
The following details are listed:
- Type
- Date
- Time
- Frequency
- Click Submit. The New Job appears in the Calendar.
When upgrading to version 24.1, Autorun and Update plug-in history from earlier versions is not visible. The ScheduledJobsHistory table gets renamed to ScheduledJobsHistory_Depreciated only when row count is higher than 50000.
