Repair - 20.3

For a Repair, you must reinstall the product and make any necessary repairs. No new specifications are required; the original configurations provided during previous Installation are used.

Click Cancel to stop the repair process. You will be asked to confirm the cancellation. Click Next to proceed with the repair.

On the Database and its user authentication details screen, you can change the Windows Authentication to SQL Authentication to setup the application database. Select the checkbox and provide the SQL user credentials. Click Next to proceed with the Repair.

On the Installation screen, you can validate the settings which were provided earlier. Then, you can proceed with the repair.

Click Cancel to stop the repair process. You will be asked to confirm the cancellation. Click Repair to proceed

with the repairs.

If your repair installation is successful, the Finish screen will appear. Check the Launch site checkbox and click

Note: If you made manual changes to Studio Manager after installing it (changes such as IIS application pool recycle time or web.config values) you must verify them again.

1. If you are doing a fresh installation of theserver and there are keys for SAP GUI entries, the Installer sets those keys to zero. If keys for SAP GUI entries do not exist, the Installer establishes new keys with a default value of zero.

2. If Studio Manager Server and Studio Manager Worker will be installed on same machine, the following SAP GUI registry entries will be reset to 0 on every fresh and repair installation.
