Note: The License Manager or MIMIX instance libraries are automatically set to *PUBLIC *EXCLUDE by upgrading to 10.0.10 or higher, therefore this command does not need to be run manually.

The command Set Library Authority (SETLIBAUT) changes the authority for *PUBLIC to *EXCLUDE on the specified library (*LIB object), and its related libraries. This command currently supports the License Manager and MIMIX instances.

Note: Before you run this command, make sure that you run the Check Library References (CHKLIBREF) command to check the individual user profile authority to access the required objects within the library, before setting the library from *PUBLIC to *EXCLUDE.

To change the authority for *PUBLIC to *EXCLUDE using the SETLIBAUT command, do the following:

  1. On the command line, type LAKEVIEW/SETLIBAUT and press F4 to prompt the command.

  2. The Set Library Authority (SETLIBAUT) appears. At PRODLIB prompt, specify the name of the instance library for setting the library authority.

  3. To run the command, press Enter.
