Through the subscription services available in the Assure UI portal, you can monitor status for your product instances when you are logged out of the portal. Subscriptions that you configure will monitor for events and automatically send either one or both of the following notifications, depending on what you configure as the event action:
Email notification to Assure UI users who are subscribed.
The Assure UI user IDs must have an email address configured in order to receive subscription notifications. See the related topics below for a link to instructions for setting up email server support.
Trap notifications to the SNMP management application on behalf of product instances for which appropriate SNMP support is available and configured.
In order to use the SNMP support, MIB files must be made available to the SNMP management application and SNMP policies must be configured. See the related topics below for a link to instructions for setting up SNMP support.
