In Figure 4, a user can log in to the Assure UI portal (gray arrow) within their network to manage configured Precisely product instances.
Other users can also log in to the Assure UI portal (gray arrows) within their subnets or VLANs to manage Precisely product instances.
Figure 4 shows that:
The Assure UI portal connects to an email server within your network (orange arrows) to send email notifications to users who subscribe to events in the portal.
In addition to or as an alternative to email notifications for subscribed events, trap notifications to the SNMP management application can be configured in the portal to be sent on behalf of product instances for which appropriate SNMP support is available and configured.
The Assure UI portal sends requests via HTTP for license key updates to precisely.com (blue arrow). Precisely listens on port 80 for requests for license keys and also returns license keys on this port.
Figure 4 also shows the flow for replication of the customer’s data using Assure MIMIX (yellow arrows).

Figure 5 shows a more complex implementation that uses two Assure UI servers to segregate product instances for management. The target nodes can be in separate subnets or VLANs from the source nodes. Both servers can use the same email server in your network to send email notification for subscribed events.
