Verifying server ports are available - IBM i - assure_mimix - Latest

Each instance of the server uses three consecutive ports, with default values beginning at port 8410. To determine if these ports are already in use on the local system, do the following:

1. Enter the command:

   NETSTAT OPTION(*CNN)

2. The appropriate Work with Connection Status display appears. Press F14 to display the port numbers currently being used.

Port numbers 8410, 8411, and 8412 should not appear in the Local Port column. If these port numbers are in use, use the instructions in Changing the port for the Assure UI server - IBM i
