This section describes the tasks an administrator performs as part of setting up and maintaining Precisely products and the Assure UI portal on a system running a supported version of the IBM i operating system. The commands used to perform these tasks are shipped with the Assure UI portal.
Depending on how the portal and portal applications were installed, the Precisely product administrator may need to manually make the applications available to the Assure UI server and manually start the server. The product installation wizard automatically makes the applications available and its default action will automatically start the Assure UI server.
