Use these instructions if you need to manually add the Assure UI server service to Windows.

Note: Note:Normally, you do not need to perform this task because default options in a product’s portal application and Assure Unified Interface installation wizard for Windows will result in the service being installed.

The Assure UI Server Service (vsiservice) command will install the server service so that the Assure UI server can be started and ended.

To add the service to Windows, do the following

  1. Open a command prompt.

  2. Change directories to the location where the Assure Unified Interface commands are located:

    C:\installation-directory\http\vsisvr\httpsvr\bin

    Where installation-directory is:C:\Program Files\VisionSolutions 

     

  3. From the command line, type: vsiservice -i
